1.) I Use Photoshop CS5

2. First Open Photoshop

It should look something like that.

3. Click File -> Import- > -> Video Frames To Layers

4.) Choose a video (NOTE: it must be mp4 or MPEG and you have to search the first word of the video)

5. ) You should get this screen

Click “Selected Range Only” then click play

6. Once you see the area where you want you gif to begin hold the “Shift” key and the fast forward key. (NOTE: only click 6 times) then press okay.

7.) your screen should look like this then;

once you’ve made it to this screen hold “CTRL” and where it says “Animation: Frames” click every frame.

8.) Once you’ve completed step 7 right click where it says “0.04” and click “0.1 Seconds” this should test how fast your gif goes

9.) Click Play (Triangle Below Frames)

10.) Satisfied with your gif !? now its time to save.  Go on File -> Save For web and devices (only this will make it work)

You should get a screen like this.

11.) Make Sure it says “GIF” in the corner there then hit save. Save anywhere you may please then upload to tumblr.

12.) Heres what it should work like:

it may be a little choppy at first but it should work.
